Nancy Pelosi

Mrs. Pelosi was born in Swindon, the United Kingdom in 1953. She graduated from Florida International University, earning her B.S. in 1982 and her J.D. from the University of Miami in 1985.

Admitted to practice in Florida, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida since 1985. Mrs. Pelosi's practice concentrates on Commercial and Civil Litigation, as well as Family Law, Collaborative Law, and Family Mediation. Mrs. Pelosi joined our firm in 1990, and became a partner in 1995. Mrs. Pelosi was certified as a Family Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court in 1999.

Mrs. Pelosi’s commitment to the legal community is evident in her membership in associations such as the Broward County Bar Association; the American Bar Association; The Broward County Women Lawyer’s Association – Board Member 1992-1993, Treasurer 1993-1994; Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Association for Conflict Resolution (formerly SPIDR), Association of South Florida Mediators and Arbitration – Board Member 2001-2006, Secretary 2002-2004, Vice President-Membership 2006-2007 (formerly Association of Broward County Mediators and Association of South Florida Mediators); the Academy of Family Mediators; and Association for Conflict Resolution. Mrs. Pelosi is a founding member of Collaborative Family Lawyers of South Florida. Her commitment to the larger community is evidenced by her pro bono work and her involvement with the Boy Scouts of America. Mrs. Pelosi is also fluent in French.

Mrs. Pelosi has been granted the distinction of a BV rating by the Martindale Hubbell Association, which is a reflection of the experience of the attorney, as well as high professional and ethical standards.
